Whoopi Goldberg admits she was high when she accepted her Oscar in 1991. Whoopi Goldberg won The Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in ‘Ghost’ and sauntered up the podium high as kite.
Goldberg has been very open about her drug and alcohol addictions as a young women and said, quite frankly, that at the time she loved getting stoned.
Whoopi Goldberg revealed on The View this morning that she once battled a very severe drug addiction. While the ladies huddled around and talked about Charlie Sheen‘s booze, cocaine and sex addictions, Goldberg chimed in about her own demons as a young actress in Hollywood.
She revealed that she spent many sleepless nights paranoid and delusional in her own bed.

There was a cat fight on The View between Whooi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Bill O’Reilly. We’re late on this one as we thought it was a big yawn but since the story just won’t go away so I guess we’ll give you some juice.

Earlier today, news broke that White House crasher Michaele Salahi accused Whoopi Goldberg of hitting her backstage after taping a segment of The View. By now everyone knows the story — Whoopi tapped Michaele on the shoulder, Michaele called assault and so on and so forth.

Whoopi responded to the allegations saying she didn’t hit Michale, but instead used “choice words” when communicating with the reality show star.
There was a big bruhaha on The View between Whoopi Goldberg and White House crasher Michaele Salahi. Michaele’s husband Tariq was not even allowed on the stage because of problems he had with the other women of her show, The Real Housewives. So, Tariq and Whoopi got in to it backstage.
