Gwyneth Paltrow recently took a swipe at old “frenemy” Winona Ryder on a blog post for Goop, her newsletter. While Paltrow didn’t mention Winona by name, she alluded to an old friend to whom she was once close who wronged her and then suffered a public embarrassment. Winona has suffered many a public embarrassment. Everything from her shoplifting to her Xanax overdose last winter.

Winona Ryder has failed to return over $82,000 worth of lent jewelry, causing officials to wonder if she’s stolen the gems. The actress was given a diamond-encrusted bracelet and ring to wear to a glitzy Hollywood event on Sunday. While she was supposed to return the items to the front desk of a Madrid hotel, no records indicate Winona did such a thing. Uh Oh!

Winona Ryder Overdoses on Xanax
Winona Ryder overdoesed on Xanax! Ryder was aboard a BA jet from Los Angeles to London yesterday when the crew made a “priority landing” after the actress fainted twice during the 10-hour flight. She was then rushed to a West London hospital where her stomach was pumped. Authorities believe she overdosed on Xanax pills.

Ryder, reportedly, doesn’t like flying and took an overabundance of the anti-anxiety pills to help thwart off her inflight nervousness. Her cracked out shaking gave all the passengers a case of the spooks. One onlooker remarked.
She turned a deathly shade of pale. It was scary.”
Scary, indeed. Why do I feel like Winona is just a big, ‘ol messy mess? She’s like a washed up rocker’s wife. She probably just sits behind the drawn shades of her mansion, pops the good stuff and appears at screenings and events all wild-eyed and crazy like.
