And Gaga tells star news she isn’t content to be in just any film… it has to be a Woody Allen film, no more, no less.

“You’ve never seen me act before,”

Gaga explains on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“I want to audition…I want to work for it.”

and because

“My dream would be to be in a Woody Allen movie…that would be my dream.”

Nicole Kidman has ankled her role in Woody Allen’s latest, untitled project.

Pic, which co-stars Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin, Naomi Watts and Freida Pinto, is set to start shooting in London in the summer.

A scheduling conflict arose due to Kidman producing (through her Rabbit Hole productions)and starring with Aaron Eckhart in the film “Rabbit Hole.”

I don’t buy the conflict. Lots of stars act in a movie and produce or direct another. With her profile view, she could be six months pregnant here! Nicole hardly showed last time. What’s your verdict on her status?

Farrell and Evan McGregor play two working class London brothers who really want to get ahead in life. The film directed by Woody allen premieres at the 64th Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy.

Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall (The Prestige) join Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in the film, which will shoot for six weeks in Barcelona and one week in Asturias. Allen will trek to Spain in June for pre-production and then will return to begin production after the July 4 holiday.

Spain-based producer Mediapro is financing half of the film, and Letty Aronson, Steve Tenenbaum and Gareth Wiley are producing.

It is the first film that Allen has shot in Spain, but this will be the fourth consecutive production outside the U.S. for a director once identified as the quintessential New York filmmaker. Allen made his previous three films in London, and he began going there partly to preserve the auteur manner in which he has always made his films.
